V-Bahn

Construction of the V-Bahn started at the beginning of July 2018 and the new 10-passenger gondola Grindelwald – Männlichen was opened in the 2019/2020 winter season. Also in winter 2019/2020 the new BOB station “Grindelwald Terminal” was put into operation. This will reduce travel times to the Jungfraujoch and the ski area by 47 minutes. 
The Eiger Express will open in December 2020 with all parts of the terminal (shops, restaurants and ski depots).
