History oft the "Schlössli Waldegg"
The “Schlössli Waldegg” was built as a hotel in 1912 and was later used as a holiday home and then as a nature-loving health centre. In 2007, this listed building was sold to a British castle enthusiast. Both inside and out, it has remained virtually true to its original condition.
Location
The “Schlössli Waldegg” is located approx. 1.5 kilometres from the train station and the village centre with various shops and restaurants. The village centre also has an ice rink, tennis courts and the valley station of the cable car from Wengen to Männlichen. The valley station “Innerwengen ” and the finish of the Lauberhorn race are just a few minutes’ walk away – a perfect starting point for skiing.
