History “Schlössli Waldegg” Wengen
The “Schlössli Waldegg” was built as a hotel in 1912 and was later used as a holiday home and then as a nature-loving health centre. In 2007, this listed building was sold to a British castle enthusiast. Both inside and out, it has remained virtually true to its original condition.
Wengen – Recreation and Adventure
The picturesque village of Wengen enchants with its alpine atmosphere and peaceful, untouched surroundings. Wengen is a true paradise for hikers and connoisseurs. In winter, it offers direct access to the first-class slopes of the Jungfrau ski area.
The idyllic village is car-free and can only be reached by train. The journey from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen takes around 15 minutes and promises breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
